Dr. Kumar’s research focuses on design and development of telemedicine technology, public health informatics, health outcomes and policy. Dr. Kumar has traveled to more than 30 countries and has extensive international experience in healthcare, education and research works. Dr. Kumar has been involved in telemedicine activities in USA, Australia, Singapore, Netherlands, Seychelles, United Arab Emirates and India. He has won several research awards, excellence in teaching awards, edited several books on telemedicine and published scientific papers in high impact journals such as Lancet, Nature.
